"Summer's Gentle Ripple" was created to capture the unhurried warmth of a summer afternoon, when time seems to soften and the world moves at the pace of light on water. The overall impression is one of ease and gentle abundance, reflecting those long, golden days when worry loosens its grip and the heart is free to wander. The heat of the day melts into something tender, and with it comes a quiet flourishing of color, memory, and the small joys that bloom when life slows down.
 
"Summer's Gentle Ripple" features a luminous and dreamlike abstract composition where a clear summer-sky blue gives way to a meadow of soft pastels below. Swirling, gentle brushstrokes in lavender, seafoam green, blush pink, and creamy white drift across the canvas like ripples spreading across a sunlit pond, suggesting the lazy movement of water, wildflowers, and the haze of warm air. Touches of pale yellow gather like sunlight pooling at the edges, while scattered throughout the lower half are small jewel-toned blooms of deep rose and red—bright little hearts in my mind, which can be interpreted as our children, scattered like flowers across a summer field.
