'Divine Supernova' is a deeply personal painting. It is a heartfelt creation meant to symbolize the loss of a child. In our case, our much loved son, Cauley who passed away at 3 months old. 'Divine Supernova' depicts a debilitating eruption of emotions and feelings that occur when a precious child's life on earth, with us concludes but their journey to ethereal peace is anything but tragic.
The chosen soft hues and blended forms of 'Divine Supernova' suggest only purity and innocence of a child's life.
At the bottom central portion of the painting a bright, almost neon orange depicts the initial explosion- such as a celestial supernova- this event outshines entire galaxies with it's vibrant and shocking colors-just as our children's souls deeply impact human existence. The way the light, airy colors leave this orangey burst and seamlessly flow into one another represents the gentle, unburdened transition of the spirit and the glory that their whole soul is experiencing.
Lastly, the light, cloudlike form in the center can be seen as the souls ascent and presence in the heavenly realm, radiating soft, comforting light.
Bringing 'Divine Supernova' into your home will offer a mindful engagent to the life of a lost loved one. The hope is to evoke a feeling of tranquility and solace that comes with knowing their existence is now in a place of perfection and beauty.
